I always find it so hard to catch up with friends on a weeknight. I’m such a lightweight and, of course, I don’t want to miss Love Island at the moment!
Luckily, I had a training day today so was able to leave work earlier than usual (on a normal school day, I start at 7:30pm and leave at 6:15pm).
However, due to traffic being ridiculous in and out of Birmingham during rush hour, I was meeting my friend, Wendy, for tea at 6:30pm and even though I’m absolutely shattered now, it was worth it as it was a lovely catch-up and the food was delicious, as always.
I’m stuffed now though; I had potato dippers to start, smothered chicken for my main and then I even treated myself to an ice-cream. This was all from the gluten-free menu at Beefeater.
I’ve now signed up for a Beefeater points card too. Wendy always seems to have some amazing deals come through so we never seem to pay more than £20 each for a three course meal. The food is always cooked to perfection and the staff are always lovely (this is Beefeater on Hagley Road, Birmingham).
Restaurant Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I didn’t know Beefeater had a gluten free menu, that’s good to know ?
There’s a fair choice too which is nice! A proper menu too which beats searching through pages and pages of a nutrition folder with everyone staring! lol xx
